My very first egg!!!

I was mowing the yard and saw Two of my Red Stars in the nest box for a very long time, so when I was through mowing the yard I looked in and saw my very first Egg. My babies are 18 weeks and 1 day old. Here are some pictures, my camera is messing up, so this is the best I could do..... I am so EGGcited.....I have 6 Red Stars in all...Okay now I have to figure out how to put a picture up.

Congratulations!

I am still waiting and my Delawares are 20 Weeks old today! I will do the chicken dance

if they lay their eggs in the nest boxes. I am so afraid they are going to lay them underneath the nest boxes.

It seems like such a very long wait to me! We are about half way there. I'll start looking for eggs in 8 - 10 weeks.
