Hi all,
Got my Muscovy duck eggs today. Got 2 dozen one for eating (never had duck eggs) and one for hatching. Was told that the ones for hatching where all laid today and yesterday and not refrigerated. The incubator comes tomorrow. Have the eggs on the kitchen counter pointy side down.

How long do I let the incubator run before putting the eggs in? I had read that you should wait a day or two to make sure it is the right temp, the incubator is digital.

Another question is one of the eggs is quite a bit larger than the others, should I hatch it or call it breakfast? I heard that very large eggs never hatch.

Thanks for reading!

24 hours on incubator just to get it up to temp and make sure there's no issues
I would try to hatch the big one anyways
The more muscovies the better
