My vet gave my chicken Biomox amoxicillin. Description on medication says dogs only.

As the title says, my vet gave me biomox for my chicken even though the description said for dogs only. My vet said that it was okay despite the description saying dogs only. So is anybody familiar with this medication? Should I give it to my chicken or not?

Quite a few people have used amoxicillin; bacterial infections mainly. Here's what it's used for in dogs:

I use off label products for my chickens. I would go ahead and follow your vets advice.
