My wife and I just went to McDonalds for GMO fries and I laughed so hard!

I felt so inappropriate because we watched a 1985ish Dodge pickup hit a 2017 Jeep Rubicon in puke green driven by a teen. I just had to get out and laugh with the kid that someone was brave enough to hit a Jeep. Then we started laughing and comparing notes on the small scratches we have gotten from other drivers willing to total their cars on a Jeep Wrangler. We totally ignored the Dodge pickup guy and had a blast!

What? You mean the 30 year newer vehicle held up better?
Shocking
I had a 1980 CJ5 when I was younger. That little jeep was awesome. Lots of fun. The newer ones not so much. Wish jeep would get back to their roots. Some of their models hardly resemble a jeep anymore.

Oh yeah the Jeep might have had some scratched plastic. There was no obvious damage to his vehicle. Similar to my 2017 Jeep as well that ate a Dodge 1500 Extended Cab Pickup for breakfast one day. Huge diffrences when aluminium meets steel. There may be crumple zones on a Jeep, but I am sure those are installed on other peoples vehicles for the safety of the Jeep driver. I definately do like these Wranglers after being in an accident and observing another one, plus it is cool how the paint colors change with the year so you know what you are looking at. Ours is "Gobi Brown" and matches our local dirt color and beach sand so I don't need to wash it much at all.

Back in the day jeeps were 90% off road vehicles and 10% what it needs to be street legal to get from mud hole to mud hole.
I miss those jeeps. Now days they're pretty much like any other SUV. 10% off road and 90% fancy gadgets and technologies that the spoiled commuters think they can't make it to work without having.

It definately drives better off road than on the highway and is by no means a comfortable car to drive. So they kept that part. We also ordered the basest model because I don't need much more than a clock in a car. Rented some stupid GMC SUV in 2013 that was scaring the bejesus outta me applying the brakes and bleeping and blooping because the thing was having a bad day! Never again.
