Here is my coop and run. I used a Home Depot garden shed. Floor space is 7X7. I added ventilation, a pop door, and windows. The run is 12X12. The rubberized floor makes it easy to clean. I'll be adding more nesting boxes soon. I'm also adding more ventilstion. The girls are happy and I'm anxiously waiting for my first egg!

Welcome! It's very nice, and I agree more ventilation in the coop. Also, that chicken wire won't keep dogs or raccoons out. I would fortify with hardware cloth and cattle panels or woven wire fencing, even for a daytime only run. I hope you have wire or something on the ground to keep diggers out too. More windows in the coop too. I'm sorry to be negative here, but through bitter experience I know how vulnerable our chickens really are. Mary

Not sure all those birds will be happy in that small coop over the winter.
Got a pic of the inside of coop?
Any plans to bolster the run to hold up to the snowload...that would help a lot.

Thanks for all the input. I am upgrading the run with hardware cloth. I'll be adding more ventilation also. My yard is mostly sand. I basically dug a moat around it and buried chicken wire all the way around. The interior has 49 sf of floor space, even with the nesting boxes and roost. I used the same hoop style design on my last coop when l lived in WI. It handles the snow well. This coop is a work in progress and your inputs are easy to incorporate. Thanks again!
