So, this past Saturday, I had a quail acting very lethargic. I took him inside to take care of him. He wouldn’t drink by himself, so I used and eye dropper to hydrate him. A few hours later, he had a seizure and passed away. After he died, mucus was expelled from his mouth.
This morning, I found another quail dead, another male. He wasn’t physically hurt, and he was acting a bit lazy the days prior, but nothing too concerning. When I found him dead this morning, he also had mucus around his mouth.
Is this a coincidence? Or is there an illness going around?
