Mystery breed 3 weeks old

These were sold to me as pullets, possible dark Brahmas. However these feathers don't match the pictures of adult birds. Anyone have an idea?

Maybe it will get its adult feathering after a molt or two? (Sorry I have no personal experience with them, but I'm trying to learn more about the different breeds; I hope they turn out what you wanted!)

That does look just like it in the feather pattern. Maybe they are dark Brahmas after all!

That is what I was thinking, they are DB

They're Dark Brahmas. The juvenile feathering differs. Here's an example of my Silver Pencilled Rock at that age versus an adult. (Same variety, different naming.)

Those are dark brahmas. They don't immediately get pencilling, but the pencilling becomes more defined with each new set of feathers as they grow.
