So my broody was sitting on eggs and only some hatched under her at the time, I posted the list of what could’ve been under momma Foghorn and the mystery chick. Thing is I thought her baby was a lavender Orpington but… the egg he/she came from is blue/cream colored and Ik all the chicks were Pure Bred so I don’t know what breed he/she could be?? Any help??

Where did you get the eggs? How do you know they were purebred? Do you have any idea what the options for the parents were? Any clues could help. If you gave any of this information in another post link us to that. But give us something to work with. The universe is full of possibilities.

I ordered them online and had them shipped

From eBay those were the possibilities on the eggs

Thanks for the answer. The only breed on that list that should lay a blue or green egg is a Cream Legbar. That is not a Cream Legbar chick. I assume the egg was marked LO as they said they would mark each egg so you would know what breeds you had. That chick could be a Lavender Orpington, the color is what it should be. All chicks of other breeds listed should look different. But an LO should lay a brown egg, probably fairly light brown. I understand why you are confused.

I see two possibilities. They did not tell you the truth. The eggs are not from those breeds or they are not purebreeds. At least that egg.

The other possibility is that that chick did not hatch from that egg. A Cream Legbar hatched from that egg and that chick, probably a LO, hatched from a different egg. You are the one that hatched them, all I can do is throw that out for you to consider. I can't come up with anything else.

I’m beginning to believe a different chick came out of it but I have a cream legbar chick and her shell and it’s labeled. The other shell is a beige brown and a white but they both seem small so I assumed the silkies came out of em. Could a silkie hatch a blue egg by any chance? Because that’s the only other chicks that came out🤨 PICTURES OF ALL CHICKS BELOW
Names for the babies below
LIL PEEP is dark brown with striped face she’s a cream legbar
HADES black silkie chick with white wings and chest black feathered feet ( also almost 1/4 of the size everyone else is )
ELVIS lavender Orpington all silver besides yellow chest
CASPER white silkie with feathered legs and black spots almost Dalmatian like on head and back

I believe you mean can a Silkie hatch out of a blue egg. Not a pure breed Silkie. If it's not a pure breed, yes.

Was that blue egg marked with anything to tell breed? I'm beginning to wonder if some how they sent you a Blue Ameraucana egg. Does that chick have a single comb or a pea comb?

Yes that’s what I meant 😂 and no I couldn’t see any markings even when first I got it I was hoping the chick would tell me what breed it was🥲 and it looks like a pea comb

I think I'd contact them and tell them what you have, a blue chick that hatched out of a blue egg and has a pea comb and see what they say. Ask if it might be a Blue Ameraucana or a Blue Araucana. That chick is not anything on that list.
