A friend gave me 2 fertilized eggs from her chickens. She clearly has a variety and doesn’t know who laid the eggs I hatched, other than the obvious. Both hatched today. One is obviously a naked neck but have no clue what this one is. Any guesses?

We can't really tell you what type of bird it is without knowing what the possible parents are. Color wise, might be black, might be barred, but those colors aren't specific to one breed. Once they're older they may have other characteristics physically that can help but they'll probably just be pretty backyard birds :)

She has one of everything. She told me they were cream legbar eggs but we all see that is not the case. She responded back to my paternity/maternity question with Easter egger and barred rock cross….

Does that seem accurate? I’m new to chicks.

Unless the brown one has a beard I don't see anything that would say EE, and Barred Rocks are one of a many of breeds who can pass on black and or barred genes so technically possible, but could have also been many other birds she likely owns. Depending on what the rooster is they could absolutely be half CCL, nothing about them says they aren't unless the only rooster was also a CCL

These are some pics I had on my phone. They are asleep for the night so I don’t want to wake them but in the morning I can get more if needed.

The brown one is part naked neck, and neither came out from a blue egg so not CCL. So besides part naked neck on the one and color being black or barred on the second, thats probably all you'll get until they're older :)
