I have a 22 week old golden sebright bantam hen. She has not yet laid her first egg.
Today while I was gathering up eggs, I looked in the nest box and found a tiny little egg. It is at least half if not 1/3 the size of the regular eggs I get. The rest of my flock consists of all standard size hens (all layers of large brown eggs) and 1 bantam rooster.
The tiny mystery egg is brown.
Could this be from my sebright hen? Or is this just a "fart" egg from one of my standard hens?
I thought sebrights laid white eggs?
