Mystery egg

Just found this egg in my field, anyone know what it is? We see pheasants often, but I don’t really know.
Also, what should i do with it?

Where are you located? If it's winter where you are then it's not a pheasant egg nor partridge.
If it is a pheasant egg, somehow it made it this long without getting eaten or broken and isn't any good anymore.

Looks like a Guinea Fowl egg. I have had my Guineas lay them then Jack boot them all over thier pen .... and then they hatch in the incubator.... LOL

The shell is very hard and very tough. They are almost roudn on one end and have a pointier taper. They can be candled though. Do you or your neighbors have any Guineas?

They range pretty far when foraging...

My neighbor does have guineas, but unfortunately the egg looked dead and was cold, so it got thrown away
