Looks like a Rhode Island Red, but that comb and wattle is much larger than it is on my RIR hen. Also, the tailfeathers go up a little higher. Could this actually be a rooster?

Looks like a very dark Welsummer hen.

I think her color is wrong for a rir. Also, all 4 hens look mature, even old. I don't think this is a rooster.
