My year old Ameracauna is acting a bit off. She hasn't laid in a few days. Has a tucked in appearance sometimes. She eats, drinks, forages, poops, roosts, etc. most of the time.
I thought she was egg bound and treated for it for a couple days but I can't feel any egg.
Crop is fine. No squishy belly either. Ideas?

Hello! How did you treat for egg binding?

The red in the poop is a little concerning. She could potentially have coccidiosis given the hunched and puffed appearance. It wouldn’t hurt to treat the flock with corid. The dose for corid powder is 1.5 tsp per gallon and the liquid is 2 tsp per gallon, both for 5-7 days as their only water source.

Keep giving her the calcium citrate, twice a day for a week. Any other hens showing the same symptoms?
No. Not a one. I have continued the calcium. I did a very thorough exam last night and found absolutely nothing on her. Comb and eyes are still looking great. I'm stumped.
