Mystery visitor--Speckled Sussex hen?

Hello! My neighbor found this chicken last week. It was hanging out on her porch all day. Because I have chickens already I offered to foster it while we try to locate the owner. If we can't, I will keep it. Someone on Facebook said this is a Speckled Sussex. It looks to be around 12 weeks old, based on the size of my other birds. My neighbor thinks it's a rooster. I'm on the fence, hoping/leaning toward a hen. No crowing, spurs, eggs, or other sex-linked traits I can identify for certain. Anyone know if this is a roo or a hen?

Clear male saddle feathers.

I see no male specific feathering, but the color and size of the comb and wattles in comparison to the development of the bird indicates a male.
