Alright. I bought a group of three chickens—two silkies and one…I have no idea. I was told she is a showgirl. I honestly didn’t care because I just loved her silly expressions and couldn’t bear to leave her behind. What on earth is she? She has smooth, almost Cochin-soft feathers and a naked neck, and I was told one of the parents was a silkie (I honestly don’t remember- like I said, I just loved her and didn’t care). She literally has two feathers on each leg and has one foot with five toes. 🥴 I’m dying to hear guesses on her Heinz 57 genetic line. What all went into the bowl when God was mixing up my sweet Lola?

I am not an expert but she does look like a Showgirl. Showgirls are a cross between a Silkie and a Turken. I am sure someone with more knowledge will chime in soon, I just wanted to say she is adorable! :love

Silkies mixed with Cochins can produce "Satins", Silkie traits with smooth feathers. Silkies mixed with NNs can produce "Showgirls". Neither are recognized by the ABA as far as I know, but they are so cute.
I would say she is a satin showgirl.
Here are a few of mine.
1. Rain, satin
2. Fluff, frizzle satin
3. Bawk, showgirl
