Name this breed 😁 please

I just got these two hens from a neighbor and have added them to my flock of three. Meet Duchess and Sweetpea.

Maybe Sweetpea is RIR?? my neighbor doesnt know the breeds. She had them for production only, not pets so laughed that I named them.

Anyway, I appreciate and value your opinions on the breeds.

I just got them yesterday. Sweetpea laid a brown egg today, but nothing from Duchess yet.

Do you think the red one is RIR or maybe Orpington? I had a RIR, but she was very dark red and more orange colored legs. I'm a newbie, so dont know a lot, but did research on my others before getting them and learned along the way. Love my little backyard flock. They are very entertaining and very spoiled.

Duchess is most likely a production breed of some sort.

What does that mean exactly? Bread for high egg production? I've had her 2 days and no egg yet. poor thing...shes very skittish, so maybe shes still adjusting to her new home.

I'm going between PR and NHR on the second one.

Definitely not a RIR or Orp.

Guessing these girls are a few years old? The white legs on the red will have probably started yellow and a the pigment's been lost to her egg yolks. Is a sign of a very productive layer.
