Hello everyone,
My name is Lora. I live in Nebraska in the country on 1.5 acres. Only have 10 hens and 2 roosters. I know I only need 1 rooster but, he was given to me along with the 5 hens when they were only about 3 days old. I have 5 hens that are almost 2 years old, 5 hens that are almost 1, a rooster that is almost 3 and my youngest rooster who is almost 1. Just a pretty small flock!
 
Welcome to BYC. Normally you only need to only have 1 cock to 10 hens but if they were raised together and seem to get along then there is no harm in it at all. Enjoy your stay
