I sooo appreciate all the great threads with answers to questions about everything! I am a newbie raising chickens and trying very hard to raise a happy healthy flock with mixed results. My chickies are 8 months old and apparently have pox. I also have one broody hen that is sitting on three eggs. She was my best bug catcher until she went broody and I couldn't keep her out of the nest. She was also Pepper's favorite girl and the first to get an apron. We're hoping to have babies this weekend and I am trying not to worry too much. Based on what I've read, I think we'll build a broody pen to put in the coop. Thanks to y'all for making me want to be part of an awesome community!
