These little guys are so adept at letting you know whats good for temps. I don't think you even need a thermometer. This pic shows that it is just a bit too warm under the lamp.

Notice heads out, butts to the light. I have since switched bulbs from a 75 watt to a 60. They seem to prefer that one better.

They're too cute, what breed are they? We have 6 that we got from a friend Thursday. One looks like yours and I was wondering what we ended up with. Some have feathers on their feet, some are brown, some are grey and others are yellow. Here's the one that has the strips like yours.
