nasty butt?

i have a few hens that have really gross looking vents that smell awful. some look like they have a foamy substance coming out of their vents. any clue what it could be? i gave them acv with mothers for the last week and it hasnt seemed to help. any advice would be great.

I would give them lots of freshly minced raw garlic, mixed if necessary with their feed or yoghurt or whatever will entice them to eat it if they won't eat it straight. There's a few illnesses they could have with those symptoms but raw garlic helps with all of them. Best wishes.

I'd also add a probotic to their water to help. Tractor supply carries a couple good ones like poultry pro vita and probios.it will really help. Best wishes.

will it taint the eggs? i sell them to the public? i will be posting pics later tonight after i get them. also how much garlic do i use?
