Native birds not nesting near chickens?

Hi friends,
We got 10 chickens a year ago and have been very happy with them.

This last month though, the bluebirds and swallows returned to their bird houses, and started to nest...but have since not been seen much.

Are native song birds not going nest around the chickens?

Our hens roam the meadow during the day, on the edge of which are the birdhouses.

Any suggestions and other related experience welcome!

We have plenty of song birds that nest near my chickens. The amount of available food, how many other birds are in the area, disease, and predation can effect your native bird population.
