I have three 6 week old chicks, a leghorn, a buff brahma and a red new Hampshire (I think). Once a day I will go out and give my 4 ducklings (the same age) and chicks a treat. They all scamper all over me to beat the other ones to the treats.
Today, Duchess, the red, plucks my pearl earring right out of my ear!!! Jerry the leghorn sees it fall and of course grabs it and takes off with it!! Needless to say, I saved my earring before the buggers could eat it. I love their goofy little personalities!
