i was going to get some plastic containers (the kind you get at the hospital as a wash basin) and use those in my neasting box. My box has space for two, as of now I don't have a divider so it's jus on big space. Do I need to make a divider or will putting the two containers in work

Just the containers will work

You might not need it but I would put one in. You could always try it without and see how it goes.

You first must decide if you only want the fixings for breakfast or if you are also intending to hen hatch your eggs. If you intend to let your hens hatch their own children the plastic dish pan style basins with a divider added will prove unsuitable.
We will not be hatching any we live in town and can not have a roo. If we ever moved and we're allowed a rooster why would this set up not work to have a hen hatch her own eggs?
