Neat feeder/ waterers

Out of all the years I've been raising chicks I'm used to the metal/ red plastic feeders and waters. I went to TSC and found..... Purple pink and green feeders and waters

Got my brooder decked out with purple now

anyone else?

YEs, I seen those. check out the really cool new egg baskets too!!! Love those, and cheap. Now, cool yes, NEAT? NO! Why can't they develop waterers that are clean and do NOT spill!!!! I am so frustrated with waterers especially. I am now hanging my waterers by their silver handles, and am using the wonderful 360 deg. nipples. I just think they like the old method best, as they flock around the waterers when I feel them up at first, even if the nipple waterers are still full. I love the colors though, so EAster-escq. Chicken waterer makers please take note: The edges need to be taller!!! I want a good inch between water level and the top of the edge!!

I started using large (64 ounce) water containers with the metal spigot that has the ball bearing in it. Found them at Pet Smart in the rodent/guinea pig section. The chickens took right to them!!! The water stays full...no spillage! LOVE THEM!!!!!
