Neck injury after dog bite - help!

Hey! My 4week old barred rock got scooped up by my dog. I got him to drop her but she just lay there. I held her for a good 30 mns she Was obviously heavily breathing and it appeared at the beginning to have a couple of drops of blood coming out of her left ear. After about an hour she chirped a few times but has no control of her neck. It looks like wry neck. I’ve separated her from the others and hand held her there to drink some water which she did. She’s laying there so pathetic. My husband wants to put her down because he doesn’t think she’s going to make it. I just can’t do it. I am hoping for the best. What else can I be doing to help?

note: there are no visible Wounds, missing feathers, bruising.

It sounds like he broke her neck. I personally would put her down ASAP (or my husband would... I can’t bear to put any animals down). She may pass on her own soon, but if she looks like she’s suffering I would let your husband put her down. I’m so sorry this happened.
