Silkies is not a breed we normally have, however, my 8 year old HAD to have one so we got one and she loved her; she was the sweetest chicken and my daughter took great care of her. Recently a hawk decided he liked her better, we came home and she was gone. We have since fixed the hawk problem and I am now looking for at least 2 silkies for her. If anyone in Georgia or Eastern AL has any chicks or younger birds please let me know. A pair is fine as long as the Roo is gentle as these will be my daughters pets and she will need to go in and out of their pen. Thank you-Mandy
