i just picked up 6 --{{ hopefully }} buff orpington chicks to place under my broody hen just in case the eggs under her do not hatch {fertility is a issue with them }..

.. i was under the impression , { being new }--buff chicks were all yellow-

--these are a gold with a more rusty gold on the back----doesn't really matter to me as they are still my baby chicks..

My McMurray light brahma chicks were not yellow. Here is a couple pictures of them as fuzzy butts and another as an adult.
