Need A Rooster! (Near Lake Charles, LA)

So, we're moving out to the country and I thought my girls might need some protection, as they aren't the brightest birds. It doesn't matter the breed but I would prefer a standard sized one, not a bantam, as all of my hens are standard.
I would also prefer one about a year old, so he fits in.

Have you checked out the Louisiana state thread? You might have better luck there with finding someone in your area, not everyone checks the WTB forum
