My 1 YO peacock has a lump at the base of his beak. It has very slowly been getting bigger. I think it is an infection from rubbing his peak against the wire of the coop. It was bloody yesterday so I started him on antibiotics and today the mass it is a lot smaller, but it is freshly bleeding again this afternoon.
What should I do?? Pics of before bleeding.
I think the hen in with him is very dominant (always has been) and is beating him up as well and he is trying to get away from her. I am thinking of rehoming her, especially now. Will the male be too lonely on his own until my current chicks from this year get big enough to join him? Not sure when that should be. He is a super mellow guy.
