Need advice quick from someone who has good luck with bator hatches.

Is 62 humidity high enough the last couple days before the hatch? I can't seem to get up past that, but haven't added the wet sock, etc, yet. Do I need to get it higher?
My short term memory is shot, and I'm not sure where I was on the humidity the other hatches I have had. I usually get about a 75% hatch. Little Giant 9200 with no turner or fan. Thanks.

If you ask me, Little Giants just stink to begin with. The temps fluctuate too much from one area of the bator to another, which could be a major part of your problem with hatches. I have already left my humidity low (like yours) and still have successful hatches in the GQF styro bator. So I don't think that would affect it dramatically. Once chicks start hatching, the humidity naturally rises as well. There are other considerations too. For example, if storage humidity was not proper, it is more important to have incubating humidity correct. If eggs are stored properly, fresh, and incubating humidity was good or a little high, the lower humidity at hatch time is not detrimental. just my thoughts.

The humidity in my hova-bator during my last hatch was around 65% and i had a little over 50% hatch so it may affect it a little but i would say you will be fine and like judy said it should rise a little when they begin hatching. Good luck!

Judy, my last hatch, I could not get mine over 68% either and they hatched ok. I did notice that the air cell was smaller than expected and that lead me to suspect the Hygrometer was reading low. Sure enough after the hatch I tested it and it was 5-6 % degrees off. You may be ok even with your reading. Let us know how it goes
