Need Advice Soon!!!

My chick pipped the small end of the egg late yesterday evening. Now has a small hole that his beek is coming out, not making any chirping sounds like my other hatchlings did. Do I need to help....is he in the right position?

he's probably not at the right end and if you've stuck around to read the other 'mine pipped at the small end' (there's 3 in the first 2 pages of threads here), the first thing you have to check for is breathing. If the chick is NOT breathing, get in there and help it clear some space to breathe if it's still alive. If it IS breathing, you can probably leave it be.
