I have a friend needing to downsize her flock and I have gotten a couple real good roos from her but now she wants to get rid of 3 hens...one she warned me has loose stools that stick to the butt and she has to trim feathers (orpington gir/fluffy butt)
She understands if I don't want her but I'm wondering if this could be an ongoing issue and I should opt out or go ahead and take her, maybe worm her and hope for the best? Or afer secluding her for a month, maybe giving yogurt and wormer could she still be a risk to my flock?
