Is there anyone in florida with any scrap wood left over from when you built your coop, or know where I can find any scrap wood for free? I really need a coop for my two chickens, because my older sister is moving back in and she says the chickens need to go outside. Maybe you guys know someone who is selling a coop for cheap? Our budget is 100 dollars, and my sister said she would give us 20 dollars to help us get them a coop. I live in florida, and my mom wouldn't be willing to go out of the state to get supplies to build a coop.

Look on craigslist for free used lumber you might get, or look for wooden pallets. Some stores give them away free.

Keep in mind chicken wire is not predator proof.
I would use a modified dog house and a dog kennel for the run.

Ask on local buy/sell/trade facebook pages for scrap or pallet wood. You can usually find a lot of good stuff for free or cheap.
And Ospreys are large, almost as big as an eagle, falcons are much smaller. Ospreys are fairly exclusively fish eaters. Falcons and hawks are a much bigger threat to chickens.

I don't have any predators in my area other than a few ospreys or falcons (I cant tell the difference) and i know how to keep those away.

So are dogs and cats. Raccoons. Weasels. Rats. Snakes. Foxes. Coyotes.
Both raccoons and foxes frequent cities.

All 'we don't have any predators' means is you haven't seen them. Just because you don't see them, doesn't mean they aren't there.
