Need Chicken feeding help - picky eaters!!

I have a few hens that dont like to eat the greens I give them

How do you guys feed your chicken green stuff

? I just rip it and toss it on the floor...they don't even touch it, they stare and thats it. Do you cook, steam, boil, mix?

Mine will eat anything as long as it comes to them in the "special metal bowl".....anything tossed into the run they won't touch

I don't know why....they eat everything else off the ground, but when it comes to treats they will only eat out of that silly bowl!!! So you might try some type of container? Good luck!

another thought is make sure it is chicken size pieces they will take it with the quickness if its not too big.

I had a few hens that did the same thing, i just started putting a little scratch in with the greens, normally they would eat the scratch first but then they would eat the greens, worth a shot.
