Need Chicken Saddle pattern & instructions, please?

I haven't been on here as much lately, but a neighbor who is starting to raise turkeys in a huge way (Building 3 huge buildings 500 ft. long each, and about ready to bring in the first batch of babies) had to get rid of his chicken flock, consisting of 9 chickens--8 hens & a roo, all RIR, and nice, so gave them to me. But with just the 8 hens, their backs are bare from the roo's attentions. I need some saddles for them, so we can get some feathers grown back. I know some on here sell the saddles, or have at times, but I am not in a shape to buy any right now, and wondered if anyone has a pattern & instructions they would share, so I could make my own? Thanks for any help.

Great. Thanks. I hopefully should be able to do that, tho a seamstress I'm not.

I use plain old duck tape, at nite when they are ready for bed Icut a piece of cloth about the size of her naked back, and then just duck tape it down, looks sorta funny, butworks, Tape will eventually come off since they take dust baths but its helps with a over loving roo.
