Need Companion Hen in RI

Hi I am looking for a companion for my last lonely hen in the RI area. My little flock of 5 has taken several bad hits this winter and my second to last hen (lovely Patches) was taken out by a hawk on Fri., leaving poor lonely Midnight by herself. We have 5-4 week old chicks, but they don't seem to recognize that they are the same species, so until they grow up, I am looking for a healthy companion for our Midnight. (Can't bear to watch her call anymore.) Breed is not important but health is and I am willing to drive a couple of hours to pick up a friend. . .
