Need Good Boots

This is the original Muck boot I had before, it was a good boot & very comfortable...so much that I probably wore when I shouldn't have, doing all kinds of outdoor chores, & a tough tree branch poked a hole in my boot. This particular Muck boot did last 2 years prior the branch incident.

I tried the other boot afterwards, thinking it would last longer...didn't even last 6 mos & 3 of those mos. I barely wore as it was summer.

Just figured I'd ask the experts here!
We've all bought what we thought were good boots at some point, only to be disappointed when they fell apart or got a wet sock 6 mos. later.

Am I expecting too much when I think they should last longer?
My boots back in the day did!
They don't make 'em like they used to?

Well, here I am, needing another good pair of boots...before I spend more time reading reviews, which often are fake, I wanna know darn it, what's a good pair of boots!?

I'm leaning towards a pair of Muckboot brand. Please give me your honest 2 cents worth, I appreciate it! 😁
Hubby bought me a nice pair over 3 years ago at Tractor Supply, they have been worn twice a day ever since. They are still in great shape and I love them! I will snap a pic of them tomorrow and see if the brand still shows anywhere on them. I think he paid under $40 for them on sale. Best money ever spent. We were tired of replacing my boots every few months.
