need guineas

Does anyone around the Terre Haute IN area have any keets. I could hatch the eggs, but i would rather buy the bird. Thanks, Natalie

You guys should look at the hatcheries. They are NOW starting to send the Guinea chicks off. I have an order for five "french" Guinea fowl coming from Ideal hatchery in the middle of June.

If you like Guineas I really do recommend the "french" Guinea fowl. They are about 30 percent bigger than regular guinea fowl and they are REALLY loud.

Ideal is one of the hatcheries that have them. They also carry the whites, the lavenders and the pearls. White Guineas are gorgeous birds.

I had great luck with French guinea fowl from JM hatchery in Pa. He was great to work with and had the best price of any I found. The French Guinea I had did not fly nearly as well as the regular guinea, but they are delicious, it that is your intent.
