NEED HELP 1ST TIME HERE....Egg hatching

sorry if i posted wrong place. i need help have a chicken laying on eggs they are hatching but are getting killed by hen mashing them.my question is can i take the eggs and put them in a box with a light over them.they are hatching 1 aday but not making it i have lost 6 so far ..can anyone help me... PLEASE... THANK YOU DADDYDAWGED

The humidity has to be right for them to hatch. You might do better to just take the chicks when they hatch and put them in the box with the light. Then when momma is done with the hatching you can give them back to her if you want to. Don't forget to give them water while they are in the box.

Maybe check out some of the homemade incubators, maybe you can whip up something real fast. Keep a close eye on that gal till then. I would get a box with light ready, paper towels in the bottom ready for any you save though. You'll need a brooder box.
