Need help determining breed

Hi, we recently got 3 chickens from a friend of a friend. He says they are all female easter eggers and will have the muffs but I'm not sure. Any ideas? Also how old do they look? We're new to chickens and still learning.

Easter Eggers hatch with muffs. They don't develop later on. I don't know their breed. Sorry.

Easter Eggers can vary alot in color, leg color, sometimes crested, bearded, beardless, lay varying shades of colored eggs, occasionally brown, or white eggs, occasionally they'll have light leg feathering.

Some EEs don’t have muffs. But yeah, they either hatch with it or don’t have it at all.

Agreed. They may be some sort of Eggers, only time and egg color will tell. They're definitely some sort of barnyard mix though.
