Need help figuring out what's wrong with my Pekin...

She'll several times in a row reach toward her left leg. She doesnt nibble on it or anything, just does this funny back and forth reach. Checked the bottom of her feet, nothing, soaked her in epson salt anywary. She's still doing it. I've never seen this, have any of you?

No but shes seemingly normal otherwise and usually walking around with the flock. This morning she was just standing there with all of them when she did it.

Hens will bob their heads downwards and to the side when they are near their mate/favorite drake, but generally 'talk' while doing so. I always have interpreted it as, "Stay away this is my guy."

I see it with my Runners as a greeting they do it to their drake an 2 each other.

Agree with the other replies. My rouen does that when I come around the drake, she is kind of "bitching" at me for lack of a better word.

I suppose that makes sense... I do that whenever my boyfriend and I go to the bar. You're probably right though. I spend too much money on a healthy diet for them, she's not limping and the bottoms of her feet look fine. I'll have to watch more closely next time I see it.

It took me forever to figure out what my duck was doing when she did the fast short quacks over and over while it looked like she was motioning Drake with her head (not the Bob). She's letting us all know that she has chosen her favorite. My other duck did it tonight to the same Drake, so I'm guessing both of my ducks chose the same large Pekin Drake, named Drake

My 2 girls do this beside "Drake", anytime I'm around and other times as well. My ducks do exactly what the duck is doing in the video.
