Need help finding info on city ordinances.

I am sure there is information on here that I am looking for, just need help in finding it. Links would be great. Also, thank you in advance. My mother lives in the city limits and the city counsel is revisiting the current no chickens in town ordnance. She wants to go to the meeting armed with all the wonderful ways chickens are beneficial. But what kinds of information will be helpful? What would the best approach be? Etc.
