I'm on the hunt for some American Game fowl hens as I've heard there great moms and I would love to have a hen or 2 that went broody and decided to raise her own babies (I currently just have some regular chickens that wont go broody) but I've Had no luck so far so I'm consider possible ordering some if that's possible?

I've found this website that says they'll ship but I don't know if its legit or a scam. Have any of ya'll ordered from this website?

Welcome To BYC

You may want to check local craigslist listings or do some heavy research into folks you may want to purchase from. If you buy local, you can go see birds in person, see how they are kept and what condition they are in.

Can't say if that site is legit or not - do some reverse search on the images and see if you get hits from other sources or the photos belong to other farms - could be they are using images they found on the web from articles, forums, other farms, ect., instead of their own, what about where are they located - is there an address, it is a farm... - this is where YOUR research and discernment must come into play.

I do find it interesting that they sell Rhode Island Red Hatching Eggs start at $300 a dozen, when you can order from almost any major hatchery starting at a little less than $60 a dozen+shipping...Just sayin'

Thanks for the help, also yeah it is a little suspicious they sell Rhode Island hatching eggs that much

Also they do have an address but on google earth it shows what looks to maybe be a farm? but it also just kinda looks like a house but I can only see so much from google earth and it does say you can come visit so i wanna say it is legit but I'm still unsure
