These are my 6 Amberlinks bought at TSC in upstate NY they were supposed to be all hens but by the way they are starting to look and act I DON'T THINK SO...
The 3 with the MUCH bigger combs are getting Super Aggressive with the ones with almost no combs. They are also very aggressive towards me and my kids, pecking at us alot.... If anyone can look at the pics and let me know. I will call the store for a refund.

1st pic is the most aggresive one in the flock.
2nd is what I believe is a hen, very cute and loves to be held....

Thanks,
John

Hmmm odly enough that first pic looks like one of my Amberlinks from the local Tractor Store...bigger, bigger comb, more daring, seems to be growing wattles....and they were all supposed to be girls..

The first one has a bigger comb and has hints of wattles... Seems like a roo.

I think I'd be complaining...#1 definitely looks roo-ish to me too especially combined with the descirbed behavior compared to the 2nd chick. Personally I think you can tell a lot about the sex based on the chick behavior. That stinks, sorry!

Looks like a return trip to TSC is in your future . . . .If you got 3 of those red comb "pullets" then they were probably part of a "Straight Run". There are a lot of complaints on BYC about TSC employees who don't seem to know ANYTHING about chicks

Which is very ironic considering they do all the publicity about "chick Days".

So are you gonna get three more amber links OR are you going to try another breed ?

How old are the chicks?

When they sell pullets isnt it 90% guaranteed like the supply companies?
