Need help identifying my new hen

A friend gave me this hen. She is 18 months old, and I have been told she lays brown eggs. She has some feathering on her legs. Any ideas?

That's a large comb and waddle for a hen. That would make me say leghorn. Feathered feet and heavy body would make me say cochin, so leghornXcochin my guess.

I agree with Percheron chick's guess.

She's a mixed breed, mixed enough no specific breed stands out. If her legs are pink/white I'd say maybe some Orpington? Her color is similar to what you get crossing buff and black.

Definitely has some buff orpington in there. Also might have some Cochin, maran, or leghorn in her too. or all four.

When I saw the second pic I immediately thought orpington. She doesn't appear to have cochin in her. Almost looks like she has some dorking in her.

Yup the orpington screamed at me too. the way she is standing in the second picture reminds me of my cochin hen. the feathers on her feet also make me think cochin.
