need help in making a cabinet incubator

I know that I am going to have 4 shelves in this one. but I need to know what size watt light bulb or bulbs do I need and where can I put them??? I hope to have a fan in the bator as well but it blows hard on low so can I use it or not as well ???

Sorry I can't help, I have a GQF 1502 cabinet but not heated with light bulbs. Someone out there will be able to lead you to an answer. Search the threads using home build cabinet and you should find previouls threads about this.

i can give you some advice...order a heating element between 225-250 watts use it instead of the light bulbs as it will heat more even.
if you decide to do this let me know and i will tell you how to build one that will last you at least 30 years if not longer.

where can I get a heating element and how much is it??? I was just going to use the light bulbs because dew to family problems I don't have a lot of money.

look on ebay there is a couple people selling them there should run you about 26.00 including shipping.

Even if you dont have alot of money you can build one it will just take a little longer as you buy the parts you need 1 at a time until you have all of them...then you build something you can be proud of.

HOW IN THE WORLD DOES THAT MAKE HEAT??? CAN I USE A HEATING ELEMENT FROM A OLD STYROFOAM BATER??

Well, the coils of that get really hot, the little white porcellain knobs that you see are what you would use to mount that hot coil to the inside of the incubator with.
