Good morning,

My approximately 7 year old duck hasn't been acting right the last couple of days. She seems to be eating and drinking okay and I haven't noticed any runny stools however when I woke up this morning I noticed her left eye has some drainage. I am looking for any information and advice. Please see the attached photos. Everyone has always been so kind and I am hoping for some easy answers and good news.

This site has a lot good information hopefully it has a cure for your feather baby

For basic eye treatment, we recommend flushing the eye copiously with saline (homemade recipes online), wiping off any gunk with a damp towel, then applying an ophthalmic ointment like Terramycin to the eye a couple of times a day. I tab a little bit onto a cotton swab and apply around there eyelid. Important to provide clean deep water as best as you can to prevent reoccurring infection.
