I just bought a duckling i have raised them before none of them ever got bumble foot the person that had him didnt keep the pen clean it was an obvious well i noticed he has lil ulcers nothing to bad looks like the starting he gets bathed everday and i put peroxide on them with antibiotic made for birds like ducks i dont see any swelling and he is pretty healthy acting i scoop out poop when ever he pottys and change cage everyday is there anything else i can do for him and since hes not to bad should i take him to vet anyway

A good duck vet can really help, and sometimes it doesn't work out.

What's on the bottom of the pen? I would cover any bare wire with old towels if you don't have nice soft bedding.

I would get the duckling into water the same temperature as the brooder, maybe even 80F (the water), once or twice a day, and dab triple antibiotic - no painkiller - on the feet three or four times a day.

Photo's might help folks here have better ideas, too.

Sure i bathed him twice a day and used bannix wound care for animals spray on his feet and kept his cage extra clean like everytime he pooped id clean it out and changed cage bedding everyday thats pretty much it beside putting a diaper on him and letting him walk around the house a lot man thing was to keep his feet clean his feet werent real bad but it was the starting of bumble and i caught it just in time before any swelling occured
