Need help knowing if leghorn or jerey giant

Hello, my first post to BYC and already love it! I am a new chicken owner now raising 13 barred rock chicks and bought four 5 month old pullets. Two of which have captured my attention. The man I bought them from says they are white jersey Giants but I believe they are white leghorns. Can you guys tell which one they are?

I too would say 95% leghorn, but if there's any doubt, leghorns lay white eggs, jersey giants lay brown eggs. First egg you get will tell you for sure!

although that hen definitely has a thicker body than the last leghorns I had, but seeing snow on the ground she could just be fluffed out to stay warm

Thank all of you so much! I already love this!! I really believed it was a leghorn! And now I'll just wait for them to start laying and we will find out for sure!

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to our flock. As the other members have indicated, they are definitely White Leghorns, which are egg laying machines. You should get loads of large, white eggs from those girls. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your Leghorns.

Your hens are White Leghorns. You should get lots of large white eggs from them!
