I have a little 3 week old that is sleeping more not eating as much or drinking and keeps trying to poop having hard time a little does come out but sticks to butt. What can I give her? She is a Mille Fleur d'Uccle so sweet. Heat is at 95 degrees fresh water always and very clean bin. They are on medicated chick starter. There is other chicks with her too so also need to know do I separate her? Thanks!

I would put apple cider vinegar in her water. Just helped someone else with there duckling having similar problems and now the duckling is much much better! Also if she is having to much trouble going potty I might soak her in some warm water.

I agree with the ACV in the water. I don't think you need to separate her unless the poop is an unusual color or the other chicks start to pick on her. I'm assuming you've had chicks before and know all about "pasting up"? Be sure to keep an eye on her vent and soak her bottom in some warm water or wipe with a wet warm wash cloth a few times a day to make sure she can still pass waste as she needs to. I usually keep after all my chicks with anything on their bottoms with a warm wet wash cloth a few times a day and I've never lost a chick. Better safe than sorry!
